You’ll be participating in group classes utilizing the methodologies outlined below.
Metabolic Conditioning; builds capacity in each of the three metabolic pathways:
- Phosphagen (A quick sprint or a heavy lift)
- Glycolytic (Fast, lactic acid build-up)
- Oxidative (Aerobic - long, smooth and steady)
Workouts are designed specifically around these pathways; you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the nerdy side as you go!
Gymnastics: Establishes functional capacity for body control and range of motion.
Weightlifting and Throwing: develops the ability to control external objects and produce power.
Sport: Applies fitness in a competitive atmosphere with more randomized movements and skill mastery.
Workouts can be adjusted in weight, intensity, and certain mechanics to scale to the experience and fitness level of any individual - whether you’re a fitness beginner or an experienced athlete.
Our workouts are designed to be constantly varied, meaning everyday is different so you never get bored. All workouts are based on the core movements of life, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, rowing and more.
All of our classes are coach-led and follow a planned progression roughly 60 minutes in duration and follow this basic structure:
A certified coach will guide you through a warm-up, followed by movement instruction and demonstration and a thorough explanation of the workout. Your coach will then guide you and the rest of the class through the workout, assisting with any scaling or adjustments as needed per individual and making sure everyone’s technique stays safe and efficient. After the workout the coach will lead you through a cool down and tell you how cool you are!
